The old warning
The Bellwarden once warned Bellacosta whenever the Island Heart faltered. The waterworks' corruption has broken the purpose of that warning, leaving the bell separated from the people it was meant to protect.
The encounter
After the guards fall, the Bellwarden attacks with a ring that strikes twice. Its central eye is safe, and the ring can also be jumped. The warden must be defeated before the coupling and counterseal can be examined.

Where to find The Bellwarden
This encounter takes place in the underground Basin chamber. The map marker identifies the surface entrance to the waterworks, not the boss's underground coordinates. Progress through the chambers to reach the encounter.
