The Apprentice
Power comes easily. Control takes practice.
You are The Apprentice, a young mage with more power than experience. Sent to Bellacosta to study under Elio, you arrive expecting lessons. The island needs your help before your training has even begun.

Your character
Choose your name and a male or female appearance. Both are ways to play the same apprentice: the person at the centre of this story. The photographs above show the two appearances at your arrival point in Bellacosta.
Learning from Elio
The Grand Archmage sends you to Elio to learn how to control your connection to the Arcane. Your first lessons teach you to gather mana, focus an Arcane Bolt and purify an afflicted creature. But Bellacosta’s troubles soon take you beyond the practice yard, into its homes, forests and troubled waters.
A journey beyond your lessons
Helping the islanders gives your training a purpose. You gather ingredients, prepare remedies and investigate the corruption affecting Bellacosta. Your journey later continues into Valdoria, where new people and problems put what you have learned to the test.
